Due to the Río Garza that runs through it, there is an estuary with its mangrove habitat filled with wildlife. This beautiful ecosystem is located at the south corner of the beach.
Some other touristic attractions are the dense vegetation of tropical dry forest as well as rocky formations, which serve as vantage points.
At the north section of Playa Garza you can observe a peak called Punta Garza, a natural border with Playa Rosada (Rosada Beach).
This beach is very tranquil and is not visited by great amounts of tourists; its still a fishermen town.
